A city park in Piedmont marking the spring 1973 wave of UFO sightings, when hundreds of reports came in to local law enforcement, and the state’s 2023 designation of Piedmont and Wayne County as the UFO Capitals of Missouri. Opened in spring 2024, with a 16-foot flying saucer, a six-foot alien, murals, and markers telling the story. Good for photos and for watching the sky.
