A Black River reservoir straddling Wayne and Reynolds counties about six miles from Piedmont, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Five Corps-run parks ring the lake — Bluff View, Highway K, Piedmont Park, River Road Park, and Webb Creek Park — each with a swim beach, and a resort and marina (see the business directory) for boating and fishing.
